Dear Barber are a client that wanted a website that could promote their popular and contemporary style. They pride themselves on being a game changer in the movement in traditional male grooming. All Bear Barber products are created in collaboration with industry professionals to design and manufacture a product range that has defined the trends of modern fashion as well as maintaining the distinct heritage of luxury grooming.
Their ideal style of website corresponded brilliantly with our style of web design so creating this site was a fun and familiar experience. Having previously not traded online, the key driver for approaching a local business like ourselves was to get support from an e-commerce perspective as well as a company with a lot of local experience in working with emerging retail brands.
The client was keen to target fashion aware sophisticated young males which was resonated with a a significant number of members from our team falling into this demographic. However, both he client and our team appreciated that there was a negative stigma surrounding the hipster stereotype. So, we endeavoured to create a site that would do justice to the style the client had elected whilst maintaining that the website was being tailored to suit the upwardly mobile young professional male.
This site needed to be respectful of the design and style the client had worked hard to build until this point whilst, as in their words, ‘evolve their tradition’ to take the business to the next level. Paying homage to the trendy, quirky flair and cementing their position as a professional, polished brand that would appeal to their target market was vital.
When working with Dear Barber, we had to adhere to their existing brand identity that they had developed on the product packaging and other marketing materials. With this in mind, we craft a Woo Commerce website that would be fully responsive on all device sizes.
We went further than the client’s requirements and chose to integrate a user-friendly product on top of the other services we provided. Not only this but to give Dear Barber even more exposure we incorporated an interactive tile-themed blog feature so the client could connect with their audience on an even greater scale and make a visually striking impression.
The final step in this project was to give the Dear Barber team all the tools and skills they need to continue to evolve their website, create engagement and shapeshift it into something that fits the ever-changing landscape they work in, and their business needs. We worked with the team to provide full support and training plus integration with their product handling provider. This means Dear Barber not only had a shiny new website suited to all their needs, but they could take control of their presence over the years to come.
