In June 2014, SO Marketing was asked to create a new website and series of promotional literature for Broadoak Energy, the renewable energy division of well known property company, Broadoak Properties.
About the Client
Broad Oak Energy has established itself as a leading figure in renewable energy technologies, designing the best individually-tailored systems to reduce fuel bills and maximise Feed in Tariff (FIT, for solar PV) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments.
From initial enquiry, Broadoak Energy required a new website. This would be a straight forward content managed website project however us being us, we decided to take it one step further and give the client a new overall brand to improve the look of all of the associated literature and branding that went with the site.
We started off considering the company as a whole and its various divisions and looked at how we could create a logo and brand that would be adaptable for every company within the group, whilst retaining a strong identity. We designedwith a new logo and set of colours that would then be able to be used across each business area with accent colours to denote each service the company offers.
From this new brand, we were able to create a striking new website design that replaced the outdated one that wasn’t performing from a sales point of view. Tying this design into a serious of new promotional literature for the company including a new document folder and business cards, we were able to complete a whole rebrand of the company in record time along with giving the team at Broadoak the sales tools they need to take with them to see clients.
